In furtherance of our mission to widen and deepen public engagement with the arts and cultures of Africa and the Black Diaspora, Creative Currents Artist Collaborative is pleased to announce our 2018 biennial Joie de Vivre Senegal Arts & Culture Tour!

Travel to Dakar, Senegal to enjoy the Dakar Art Biennial festivities and all the beauty that Senegal has to offer.

Participants will:
• Tour Dakar - a metropolitan city full of art, music, shopping, and culture
• Enjoy the Dakar Art Biennial, the international arts festival happening at venues throughout the city
• Visit art museums, galleries, and artist studios
• Shop till you drop in Senegal's never ending Sandaga and local craft markets
• Travel to Goree Island, home of the infamous Slave Castle and lunch at Goree's beachside cafes
• Surf the sand dunes of Pink Lake in four-wheelers and visit with the locals
• Unwind in Senegal's boutique 3-4 star hotels and relax poolside after a day of sightseeing
• Travel to the English speaking country of Gambia and tour the city of Banjul
• Eat your full at Senegal's excellent French and West African restaurants
• Tan, swim and people watch on Senegal's numerous white sand beaches
• Explore the country with plenty of free time to create your own adventure!
